You’re a fantastic fit if…
you’re a practitioner who would love a few "after school" visits…
you’re interested in testing out the waters of private practice "on the side" before launching your own…
you love working with young children and their grown-ups, and are cheerleaders for parents and caregivers…
you are a strong advocate for child- and caregiver- focused therapy, parent coaching and education…
you want to support a caseload according to best-practices and family/clinician values, not outdated normative systems or eligibility criteria…
you want to grow and learn about feeding therapy, and know the limits to your knowledge and are curious to expand and improve them….
you’re up for the challenge of a hybrid caseload (while understanding this position is mostly in-person doing community-based therapy in homes, parks, libraries, etc)…
You’re motivated, flexible, collaborative, and take initiative…
You are not afraid to practice at the top of your license, and ask questions proactively.
This position is not for you if….
you’re looking for 40 hours per week, full health insurance and benefits. While we can’t offer health insurance or retirement benefits just yet, it’s a goal for the future, especially if holding a robust caseload (e.g 20+ weekly sessions).
you want to stay in one place all day long.
you aren’t comfortable incorporating parents and caregivers directly into your sessions.
The ideal candidate loves early intervention and preschool-aged SLP therapy, and has an interest in feeding therapy.
