We’re hiring!

fLEXIBILITY. SUPPORT. PASSION.

We’re growing and thriving, and with momentum, comes hiring! alliemslp Speech Therapy Group provides high-quality speech and feeding therapy to children and families following a child-directed, family-led, and collaborative coaching model. Our framework is responsive and individualized, and we work together with caregivers to create goals and a game plan for therapy and progress.

Currently hiring 2 rockstar SLPs:

  • Short-term 4-6 month position covering a maternity leave in February 2024 through June (ish) 2024. Opportunity to end, extend and/or build own caseload after this time. ~20 hours per week including 13-15 sessions of EI and private preschool aged clients in San Mateo county, primarily in-person home/daycare visits.

  • Ongoing part-time SLP for Early Intervention and/or preschool-aged private pay clients.

Immediate need for a part time speech-language pathologist:

  • Ability to provide 5-15 speech and/or feeding therapy sessions per week

  • Ability to provide hybrid in-person home-based and virtual services for San Mateo , San Francisco or Marin counties.

  • Caseload is early intervention clients through Golden Gate Regional Center, and private pay early childhood pediatric clients (usually 1-5 yr olds, but occasional referrals for 5+ yr olds)

  • Hourly rate for a fully licensed and certified SLP is $60-$75 per clinical hour, $20 admin hour, and you're paid for drive time between clients, prep time, and make your own schedule

  • Strong clinical fellowship (CF) candidates may be considered at $55-$60 per clinical hour for private pay preschool-aged clients.

What are the perks?

  • access to feeding mentorship

  • support to focus on and expand your niche

  • access to a materials closet

  • access to various SLP memberships

  • clinical support for problem solving

  • productivity requirements are pretty reasonable- just need to hold 5+ sessions per week!

  • CEU stipend, ASHA membership and SLP licensure reimbursement, and other perks negotiable when holding a caseload of 10+ sessions per week.

You’re a fantastic fit if…

  • you’re a practitioner who would love a few "after school" visits…

  • you’re interested in testing out the waters of private practice "on the side" before launching your own…

  • you love working with young children and their grown-ups, and are cheerleaders for parents and caregivers…

  • you are a strong advocate for child- and caregiver- focused therapy, parent coaching and education…

  • you want to support a caseload according to best-practices and family/clinician values, not outdated normative systems or eligibility criteria…

  • you want to grow and learn about feeding therapy, and know the limits to your knowledge and are curious to expand and improve them….

  • you’re up for the challenge of a hybrid caseload (while understanding this position is mostly in-person doing community-based therapy in homes, parks, libraries, etc)…

  • You’re motivated, flexible, collaborative, and take initiative…

  • You are not afraid to practice at the top of your license, and ask questions proactively.

This position is not for you if….

  • you’re looking for 40 hours per week, full health insurance and benefits. While we can’t offer health insurance or retirement benefits just yet, it’s a goal for the future, especially if holding a robust caseload (e.g 20+ weekly sessions).

  • you want to stay in one place all day long.

  • you aren’t comfortable incorporating parents and caregivers directly into your sessions.

The ideal candidate loves early intervention and preschool-aged SLP therapy, and has an interest in feeding therapy.
