COLLABORATIVE COACHING

Short-term, intensive speech or feeding therapy services to provide a proactive boost.

The Why

We know that waiting lists for speech or feeding services can be long! We offer short-term, 4 week intensives for 0-5 yr olds while you’re on said wait lists (either with us, or elsewhere). These are meant to provide a boost and/or supplemental support. Some families also want to proactively connect with a professional to problem solve, try out a few strategies, and/or test the “therapy” waters on a short-term basis. Collaborative Coaching with alliemslp  is a great way to do so!

What’s Included?

Two, 45-minute sessions per week, for 4 weeks. One session will be in-person in your home or a local community location (e.g., park or library), and one session will be virtual coaching. Alternatively, you can choose two virtual sessions per week (great for those not local to San Mateo county!). Depending on therapist availability, both sessions may need to be virtual.  You’ll receive detailed session summaries after each session reviewing what you targeted in session, in addition to resources and handouts to review. After the four weeks are up, you’re done!

What’s the outcome?

Intensives are meant to be consultative and collaborative- you’ll utilize video review, strategy sharing, and direct time with your therapist to tailor each session to your immediate needs, and longer-term goals. Magic moments happen throughout the day, and we’ll help you find the “just right” routine to embed speech, language, or feeding strategies. You’ll leave with individualized resources and strategies specific to your family, and a framework for supporting your child’s speech or feeding needs.

Do you take insurance?

No. At this time, Alliemslp Speech Therapy Group, Inc. is private-pay only and does not accept or work with any insurance plans. However, a superbill is available upon request and may help you secure reimbursement from your insurance provider for out-of-network costs (depending on your plan). Provision of a superbill does not guarantee reimbursement from your insurance provider.

Prior to starting services, it is the caregiver’s responsibility to contact their insurance plan to secure any necessary pre-authorizations. An evaluation is required in order to proceed with services. Reach out to request a “cheat sheet” to help navigate your conversation with insurance.
